About Eric Almeida - Your Life Coach
An experienced men’s life coach, Eric Almeida will be serving as your guide. Eric always had the desire to help people for as long as he can remember. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in psychology with the intention of becoming a clinician. After graduating, he got a position at a residential facility for emotionally distressed children. As fulfilling as the work was, he was not ready to take on the weight that came with such a position.
After leaving, Eric tried to find a different path in his life that he connected to. He worked in a variety of industries such as hospitality, retail, real estate, factory work, antiques & subsidized housing. Yet, some part of him knew that he was wandering away from his true calling.
It was while working in subsidized housing that his psyche told him that something needed to change, and it did so through a panic attack. As a result, Eric’s vision of himself shattered. He realized that the life he was living was not the life he should be living.
This jarring experience was the kick in the butt that Eric needed to finally do the work on himself that he always knew needed to be done. Many months of healing later, Eric recovered from the panic attack and began to embrace his true calling. The self-work not only healed his wounds but reignited his passion and drive to help others.
Eric embraced the gift that the panic attack gave him and aimed his efforts toward becoming proficient in methodologies that served him in his own healing journey. As a result, he is trained in the Emotional Freedom Technique through EFT International and trained in hypnosis through the American Board of Hypnotherapy. His continued goal is to guide men so that they can connect with their true calling in life.

Eric is a wonderful human being with a unique strategy in regard to mental health. He has a personality and demeanor that both soothes and draws you in which makes you feel comfortable to talk. Mental health is such a personal issue and often we go through life not getting the help we need out of shame, cost, or access. Getting the help, I need when stressed or dealing with anxiety has never been easier. If you are open to working on you, I couldn't recommend anyone else.
